This project reflects ZEROR’s commitment to precision, cultural sensitivity, and zero‑error execution, delivering a men’s majlis that is elegant, functional, and thoughtfully designed for refined social gatherings.

This men’s majlis project was designed by ZEROR to create a sophisticated and welcoming gathering space that reflects cultural identity, comfort, and refined elegance. The objective was to design a formal majlis suitable for hosting guests, conversations, and social occasions while maintaining a luxurious and timeless atmosphere.

The design concept focuses on grandeur, symmetry, and balance. Soft neutral tones, double-height proportions, and carefully layered lighting were combined to enhance the sense of space and prestige. The majlis is designed to feel both formal and inviting, respecting traditional values while expressing a contemporary design language.

SPATIAL PLANNING & FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

Main Majlis Seating Area

The main majlis is planned as an expansive and symmetrical seating space, allowing guests to engage comfortably in conversation. Continuous seating along the perimeter enhances capacity while maintaining openness at the center.

Central Gathering Zone

The central area is defined by sculptural coffee tables and a soft area rug, creating a focal point that anchors the space. This layout encourages interaction while preserving clear circulation paths.

Vertical Volume & Feature Wall

The double-height ceiling enhances the sense of luxury and openness. A feature wall with artistic detailing acts as a visual focal point, complemented by a statement chandelier that emphasizes the vertical scale of the space.

DESIGN DETAILS & FINISHES

Color Palette

A refined palette of warm greys, soft beige, and muted blue accents creates a calm yet elegant environment. The colors are selected to enhance brightness while maintaining a formal and dignified character.

Materials & Textures

The interior features marble-finished wall panels, textured surfaces, and warm wood elements. These materials provide richness, durability, and a luxurious tactile experience suitable for a formal majlis.

Furniture & Accessories

Custom-designed seating with plush upholstery ensures comfort during long gatherings. Minimal accessories and carefully selected décor pieces maintain visual clarity and sophistication.

Lighting Strategy

Layered lighting combines recessed ceiling fixtures, concealed LED strips, and a sculptural chandelier. This lighting approach highlights architectural elements while creating a warm and welcoming ambiance throughout the majlis.
